Chatfield reopens a portion of one boat ramp, expect delays
Colorado Parks and Wildlife
This is only one-third of the normal ramp access. Boaters should anticipate extended wait times. Boaters are reminded to be alert for floating debris and unmarked hazards. Water levels continue to drop but many facilities remain closed and affected by high water. The main road south of Fox Run Picnic Area remains closed. Boaters must use the park entrance off Wadsworth Boulevard.

Access to the Campground is only available from North Roxborough Park Road entrance (Plum Creek Entrance). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is in charge of water releases from the reservoir and will be monitoring downstream conditions to determine how much water can be released safely.

Facilities affected and closed at this time are:
--Main Park Road south of Fox Run Picnic Area to Platte River parking
--Marina Parking Lot
--Gravel Ponds Parking Area
--Swim Beach and adjacent parking areas
-- Jamison Picnic Area
--Catfish Picnic Area
--King Fisher
--Eagle Cove
-- South Boat Ramp and East dock of the North Ramp
--Plum Creek Picnic area (including Roxborough Cove)

Restroom facilities and parking lots in these areas are closed. Parking space and picnic locations are limited at this time due to the high water. Parking is not allowed along the main park road. All vehicles must be parked in a designated parking area and those are limited at this time.
