REEL ‘EM IN: KIDS’ FISHING CLINIC AT LATHROP STATE PARK

The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Youth Pond at Lathrop State Park.
The first 50 participants will receive free fishing rods and tackle at the event but those with fishing equipment are encouraged to bring their own. Lunch will be provided to participants and their parents. Prizes will also be awarded to children during the event.
Participants should bring water, a lawn chair, sunscreen, bug spray and a hat. A valid park pass will be required for each vehicle entering the park.
Anyone 16 years or older who wishes to fish after the event will need a valid fishing license and can only fish at Martin or Horseshoe Lakes within Lathrop State Park.
