Meet the new Park Manager Stacey Lewis and her staff. Then enjoy baked goods and hot cider while you browse lovely handmade gift items created by local artists.

Mueller State Park: Holiday Open House

Time: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Address: 21045 Highway 67 South
Take a nature hike, create a Christmas ornament and visit Santa at our cabins. Get up close and personal with birds of prey and enjoy free refreshments. Click link for details and program times.

Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA): Holiday Open House

Time: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Address: 307 W. Sackett Ave, Salida
Make a bird feeder out of recyclables and visit with special guest Arlene Shovald and Bob Hickey. Shovald is a local author and Hickey is a well known naturalist at AHRA. Take advantage of a 10% discount on merchandise from the Greater Arkansas River Nature Association's sales outlet.

Saturday, Dec. 13 Cheyenne Mountain State Park: Holiday Open House

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Address: 410 JL Ranch Heights, Colorado Springs
Take a break and relax with stories by the fire or release some stress with a free relaxation massage. For the more adventurous there is a scavenger hunt, craft making, and face painting. Free hot beverages and snacks will be provided. Park merchandise on sale, 20% off.
