Satanka Boat Ramp at Horsetooth Reservoir and South Shore Boat Ramp at Carter Lake Close for 2010 Boating Season

Due to low water, and effective October 11, Horsetooth Reservoir’s Satanka boat ramp and Carter Lake’s South Shore boat ramp will close for this boating season. ANS inspections will be done at the other boat ramps. Please see schedule below.
The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, in order to comply with State of Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Regulations, is required to inspect every vessel entering Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. Boating access hours are listed below. No boat launching is permitted outside of these hours however, boats already on the reservoirs may continue operation.
Boating Access Hours:
Carter Lake North ramps, Horsetooth Reservoir Inlet Bay and South Bay ramps: October 1 - October 31, 20010: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., 7 days a week, weather permitting November 1 - March 31, 2011: 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and Noon - 1 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays as weather and ice conditions allow
