SUBJECT: Boating Access to Horsetooth Reservoir Suspended Temporarily

For Immediate Release:

Effective Monday, December 7, 2009, boating access to Horsetooth Reservoir will be temporarily suspended due to low water levels and a construction project. All ramps at the reservoir are out of the water. The Department will take advantage of this time for remodeling of the existing swim beach at South Bay Campground. Water levels should increase to allow boating access again by mid to late January, 2010.
