I apologize for being unable to send you updates on Ruedi Reservoir releases these past two weeks. We had our seasonal change just yesterday at Ruedi Dam.
We are currently releasing 90 cfs from Ruedi Dam to the Fryingpan River. The change was made yesterday evening, October 16, around 6 pm. This is our winter release. It is more than double our winter release last year and the reason for that is the weather. We've had higher than average inflows in late summer and during early fall.
As a result, the water level elevation at Ruedi is around 7748 feet. It is approximately 84% full--above average for this time of year.
I will keep you posted of any changes.
