Olympus Dam drops to 570 cfs, C-BT photos on-line

All,

Very early this morning, we were able to cut back releases from Olympus Dam to the
Big Thompson Canyon some more. We are now releasing about 570 cfs. We have also
closed one of the five gates at Oly Dam so we are now releasing through three gates
instead of four.

We are estimating that current rain run-off inflows to Lake Estes are around 700 cfs.

Reclamation's photos of flood impacts across the Colorado-Big Thompson Project are
on-line at

Links to our most current information as it comes available are available from our
Eastern Colorado Area Office webpage: http://www.usbr.gov/gp/ecao/

Please remember that flood waters are not safe.

I'm in all day if you have related questions.

Best,
Kara
