All,

As rain inflows have decreased to Lake Estes in Estes Park, Colo., we have been able to scale back releases to the Big Thompson Canyon from Olympus Dam. We are now releasing 764 cfs. Olympus Dam is safe and is performing well.

For those who live around Pinewood Reservoir, you have likely seen some fluctuation in the reservoir water elevations. The east slope of the Colorado-Big Thompson Project, including Pinewood and Flatiron, saw some localized inflow from rain run-off which we pumped to Carter Lake.

Pinewood, Flatiron, Carter Lake, Horsetooth Reservoir and their dams are all safe and performing well.

This afternoon, Reclamation posted a news release with a summary of our operations. We also have photos of the rain and flood event across the east slope of the C-BT available on-line.

As you've probably heard from other sources, please stay out of flood waters. They are not safe.

I'll continue providing updates as needed. Please let me know if you have related questions.

Stay safe!
Kara
