Credit: Larimer County press release
The Larimer County Engineering Department will hold an Open House to explain the County Road 11C bridge over the Horseshoe Lake Spillway replacement construction. The project is located approximately 0.9 miles south of E. 57th Street (County Road 28) between Horseshoe and Boyd Lakes, just north of Loveland. The work involves replacing the existing bridge with a 3 cell concrete box culvert. The new structure will include a gate system and function as a high level outlet facility as well as a spillway for Horseshoe Lake. County Road 11C will be closed approximately 300 feet each side of the bridge during construction. Traffic will be detoured east to Monroe Ave. along E. 57th Street (County Road 28) and E. 37th St. (County Road 24E) during construction. Construction is scheduled from February through May of 2014.
The project information open house will be held at the Good Shepherd Church located at 3429 N. Monroe Ave. in Loveland from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013. The meeting will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to view plans and other project information and ask questions. There will not be a formal presentation so feel free to stop by any time between 4 and 6.
If you are unable to attend the open house and would like to view the plans or discuss the project, please call Ron Winne, Project Manager at (970) 498-5713 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
