Now that we are seeing the snowmelt runoff come down--finally--we are able to send just a little more water into Horsetooth. About 175 cfs is flowing the to reservoir this morning. Add that to the fact that the rain and cooler weather over the past several weeks have kept draws on the reservoir to a minimum and we have a slight rise in water level elevation. As of this morning, the elevation is inching towards 5419.
