Just a quick note to let you know that we have completed our maintenance work at the Green Mountain Powerplant. As a result, this morning we began bumping up releases from Green Mountain Dam to the Lower Blue River. Increases were done in two steps:
At 7 a.m. today we raised releases from 130 to 190 cfs.
At 9 a.m., we bumped releases up from 190 to 260 cfs.
I do not know how long the 260 cfs will stay in place. I suspect if no change is requested of Green Mountain after today's weekly conference call, the 260 could likely stay in place through the weekend. I will keep you posted.
Meanwhile, the reservoir is just over 50% full. Draw on the reservoir has leveled out a little over the last couple of weeks, largely due to the maintenance project at the power plant. It is currently at an elevation of about 7906 feet.
Please let me know if you have any related questions.
