CPW press relesase
FIRESTONE, Colo. – Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife at St. Vrain State Park for the annual “Wild Times” program on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for a day of outdoor recreation, education, and fun. Families, friends and anyone new to fishing and shooting sports are invited to join us for a morning of fresh air and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to shoot bows and arrows, fish in one of the park's many ponds, and try their hand at shooting .22 rifles: all under the watchful eyes of trained professionals and partners.

A nature hike, snacks, and goody bags will round out this morning of healthy fun. Registration is $5 (no credit cards) and is limited to the first 100 people to register at 303-291-7804. Registration ends Sept. 21. A daily Colorado State Parks Pass ($7 per vehicle) or an annual pass is required and can be purchased at the park on the day of the event.

Collins, St. Vrain State Park’s 152 acres of water and 604 acres of recreational land provide an excellent place for fishermen, campers, photographers and birders to get their fill of nature.
