From Larimer County Department of Natural Resources:
Horsetooth Reservoir is CLOSED to boating and all forms of water recreation to assist the Alexander Mountain Wildfire response and helicopter water fills. The water will remain closed July 31 and until further notice.
Pinewood and Flatiron reservoirs as well as Devil's Backbone Open Space and the Blue Sky Trail are closed due to being in the mandatory evacuation zone.
Carter Lake has been closed to all boating and water recreation due to proximity of a wildfire in Boulder County.
Also, at this time (5pm 7/30), per larimer.gov, Highway 34 is closed to East and West-bound traffic between Mall Road and North County Road 29. From CDOT: Both directions of US 34 are closed in Big Thompson Canyon from Larimer County Road 27/Mile Maker 85.6 to Mall Road/Mile Maker 65.8, due to a wildfire in the area. Detours may be implemented in the event of evacuations. Alternate Route to Estes Park is US 36.
