Trinidad Lake closes to motorized boating July 16 & 17 for new boat dock installation
Trinidad Lake State Park ( [log in for link] ) will be closing the reservoir to motorized boating beginning Tues., July 16 for the installation of a new boat dock. Boat inspections for aquatic nuisance species (ANS) will be unavailable during this time. The lake will reopen to motorized boating and ANS inspections on Thurs., July 18.
"We are excited to make this much needed upgrade to the boat ramp here at the park," said Trinidad Lake State Park Ranger Charlee Olson. "We just ask our visitors to please be patient while we make these improvements."
Hand-launched boats without a trolling motor, including belly boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards will still be allowed on the water. All other park activities will remain unaffected.
