For sure bet fishing in the Centennial State, catch trout stocked by Colorado Parks and Wildlife

My outdoor experience began at a young age catching panfish in the waters of northern Minnesota.
These lakes and ponds, many no more than a short bike ride from my home, were teeming with bluegills, crappie, yellow perch and an occasional rock bass. As a beginning angler, I found these fish to be easy to catch and they were excellent table fare. This was the recipe that fed my passion for fishing.
In Colorado we have panfish opportunities but not to the extent that waters in the Midwest do. So where do beginning, youth or occasional anglers turn to satisfy a need for cooperative fish that offer fun action that fuels enthusiasm for the pastime?
The answer is stocked rainbow trout.
