The United States of America. The State of Colorado. Leadville. San Isabel National Forest. Turquoise Reservoir.
I am not a world traveler, with stories of exotic lands and unique fish. However, I have been around the state of Colorado quite a bit. In my boyhood years, I fished with my dad on regular summer visits from out of state. As a decades-long resident of the state, I have had the opportunity, one day trip or weekend, or vacation at a time, to cast a fishing line in many, many rivers, creeks, lakes, and reservoirs.
If I were to take a highlighter and note where I have fished it would be widely dispersed and abundant. But if you stepped back and viewed the map globally, you would see holes — places I have not fished.
