Areas in the Rock Canyon area that still remain closed include: Swim beach Anticline pond Osprey picnic area All trail and river access from the bridge at Juniper Road to the nature center is closed.
These areas remain closed because firefighters continue to work on hot spots and large Cottonwood trees that are burning from the inside in areas along the river, trails and in Osprey Picnic area.
