No Boating Access at Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir on Christmas Day

For Christmas Day only, December 25, 2011, all boat ramps will be closed at Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. There will be no ANS inspectors on duty that day.
Planned Boating Access Hours through March, 2012 (No boating access Christmas Day):
Horsetooth Reservoir:
South Bay ramp: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays: weather, ice, and staff dependent
Carter Lake:
North ramp: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays: weather , ice, and staff dependent

The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, in order to comply with State of Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Regulations, is required to inspect every vessel entering Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. No boat launching is permitted outside of these hours however, boats already on the reservoirs may continue operation. ANS inspections will be done at open boat ramps.
