Boating Access Hours at Horsetooth Reservoir and Carter Lake – September 19 through November 1, 2011

Effective September 19 through November 1, 2011, the following boating access hours are in effect for boat ramps at Horsetooth Reservoir and Carter Lake:

Boating Access Hours:

Horsetooth Reservoir:
South Bay ramp: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., 7 days a week, weather dependent
Inlet Bay ramp: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., 7 days a week, weather dependent. Closes October 15.
Satanka ramp: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., Friday, Saturday, Sunday, weather dependent

Carter Lake:
North ramp: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., 7 days a week, weather dependent
South Shore ramp: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., Friday, Saturday, Sunday, weather dependent
North Pines ramp: Closed for the season

The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, in order to comply with State of Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Regulations, is required to inspect every vessel entering Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. No boat launching is permitted outside of these hours however, boats already on the reservoirs may continue operation. ANS inspections will be done at open boat ramps.
