Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, fishing salmon in the late summer and early fall and steelhead in the winter, I moved to Colorado in 2010 for professional reasons and have no desire to live elsewhere. Since I have been here, I have targeted and caught several species that I hadn't even heard of before I moved here, my species of choice in Colorado being Walleye, with some Lakers sprinkled in during the colder months.
