I was born and raised in the northern MN lakes country. I grew up fishing with my dad and uncle for everything from panfish to walleye. I spent several summers traveling around Lake of the Woods islands in Ontario where I came to enjoy the comforts of "shore lunch" and a good nap!
My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2010 after college to ski and enjoy the outdoors without the MN cold. We have two daughters and an old GSP who follows me every where.
I have learned to love trout fishing in open water and hard water formats. While I'm still learning a lot about the waters in Colorado I'm always excited to see what my next trip brings.
