Forest Fires were in this area in 2018. The area offers fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Located in Routt National Forest, in the Gore Range Area, managed by the Yampa Ranger District. It is intersected with BLM land.
From USFS: Directions from Yampa: Travel south on Hwy 131 approximately 11 miles to Hwy 134. Go east on Hwy 134 approximately 20 miles to Forest Development Road 100. Go north on FDR 100 about 8 miles to FDR 101. Go north on FDR 101 about 2 miles to Red Dirt Reservoir.
