Getting there:

From Denver: -Head west on I-70 W. -Take exit 260 to merge onto CO-470 E towards Colorado Springs. -Take the exit onto US-285 S toward Fairplay. -In Bailey, turn left onto CO Rd 68/Wellington Rd/Wellington Lake Rd. -Stay on CO Rd 68/Wellington Rd/Wellington Lake Rd for 11 miles. -The lake is on the right. From Colorado Springs: -From I-25, take exit 141 for US-24 W/Cimarron St. -Follow signs for Pikes Peak/Woodland Park. -Continue straight onto US-24 W. In Woodland Park, take slight right onto CO-67 N. -In Deckers, road turns into CO Rd 126, continue towards Buffalo Creek. -Turn left on Forest Service Road 550 stay on road for 10 miles. Road ends at lake. -The lake will be on your left.
