Getting there:
US-34 to W Portal Rd to Tonahutu/North Inlet Trailheads. North Inlet trail for almost seven miles to Lake Nanita Trail. From North Inlet Trail, Lake Nanita Trail is noticeably steeper. Several switchbacks wind in and out of wonderful views of the valley where North Inlet Creek originates. The trail gains 1,700 feet of elevation over 2.7 miles.Take Lake Nanita Trail to just north of Lake Nokoni, then travel 1.3 miles off-trail over the saddle north of Lake Nokoni.
