Getting there:
From the Beaver Meadows Entrance, follow Bear Lake Road to the Glacier Gorge trailhead. Follow Glacier Creek Trail to a confusing junction of four trails: Lake Haiyaha, Loch Vale Trail, Glacier Creek Trail and North Longs Peak Trail. Follow Loch Vale Trail to the lake. Much of the trail is exposed to sun and weather so be prepared with sunscreen and rain jacket if poor weather sets in.
