It's about a mile hike up to the reservoir from the trailhead. You cannot fish at Lower reservoir which is the first one you come to. This reservoir has Brookies, Cutthroat and Tiger Trout. I've heard rumor of Golden trout being stocked here but have yet to catch one... Log infor additional details...

Getting there:
From Lake Palmer, take CO 105 and turn east on S Valley Rd, then turn south on Old Carriage Rd and park at the Reservoir Trailhead. Follow the trail to Upper Reservoir.
