Getting there:
The Erie Reservoir is located on Hwy 287 just North of Hwy 7 (Arapahoe Road).
From the Denver Area take Hwy 36 North to Hwy 287 and 287 North to the Res, or take I-25 North to 7 and 7 West into 287.
From the Boulder Area, take Arapahoe Road out to Hwy 287 and turn left (North).
Going North on Hwy 287, go just past the Safeway Supermarket and turn right into a gravel parking lot surrounded by a wooden fence, where there is room for 12-20 cars in total. Parking is not generally a problem here, but please avoid the private drive that is just a few meters north of the parking area.
