General Details:

34-acre lake in White River National Forest, managed by the Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger District.

From USFS: At an elevation of 10,470 feet, the Deep Lake fishing site is on the southwest side of Deep Lake. It offers accessible trails to fishing pads along the lake shore, a shelter with picnic ... Log in for additional details...

Getting there:

From Eagle, CO travel 13 miles west on I-70 to the Dotsero, CO exit and follow the signs for Sweetwater/Burns by turning north, right, onto the Colorado River Rd. Stay on this road for 1 3/4 miles and then turn left onto Coffee Pot Springs Rd., FDR 600. Follow this road for 29.5 miles. The fishing site is just past the nearby Deep Lake Campground.
