Getting there:
Take I-70 two miles west of Idaho Springs, exit on 238, Fall River Road. Take Fall River Road north for 10 miles, through Alice. The trailhead will appear on your left. There is one parking lot about 100 yds beyond the trailhead, and one about 100 yards before the trailhead. The lots have bathrooms and a service fee station. Fees for 2013 are $5. The lake is a well-marked 3/4 mile hike up a reasonably steep, rocky grade.
