Located near Lowell Boulivard and 56th Way in Denver, this urban state wildlife area offers fishing, picnicking, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Visitors should be aware that all activites are limited to one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset with the exception of fishing.

Getting there:
Located west of Lowell Street on 56th way. Option #1: Take the Sheridan Blvd exit off of I-76. Head south to W52 Ave, then head east on W 52 Ave to Lowell Blvd. Head north on Lowell Blvd and the parking lot will be roughly 1/2mile on the west side. Option #2: Take the Federal Blvd exit of of I-76. Head south to West 55th Place, then head west on W 55th Pl to Lowell Blvd. The parking lot with be directly in front of you as you hit Lowell Blvd.
