General Details:

Located in Grand Mesa National Forest

Fingerling cutthroat and/or rainbow trout are stocked annually, Wild brook trout are present. This area is very popular locally and this lake receives heavy fishing pressure, with a depth up to 55 feet.

Getting there:

From Cedaredge, travel north on Highway 65, 16.0 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 121, just before reaching Carp Lake. Proceed east 2.5 miles to the fork in the road. Continue to the left on Forest Road 121 for 9.0 miles and turn right onto the Weir and Johnson Road (Forest Road 126} Proceed 2.8 miles directly to Weir and Johnson Reservoir.
