Trout lake located in Gunnison National Forest west of Crested Butte. N From USFS: Fishing can be good in Lake Irwin, it is stocked by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife annually with trout. Getting there:
From the town of Crested Butte, go north approximately 1 mile north and turn left on the Washington Gulch Road. The lake is about 2 miles from the turnoff.
