Spratt-Platte Lake is located just off the South Platte River and Denver's South Platte River Trail runs between the South Platte River and the lake. Spratt-Platte Lake has great opportunities for largemouth bass with large numbers of quality sized (15"-17") bass. The southwest end of the lake is closed to the public. Getting there:
At the corner of 100th Ave and McKay Road.
From I-76
Take the 96th Ave exit off I-76. Follow 96th Ave west from the exit to McKay Road, then north on McKay Road to 100th Ave. Head west on 100th Ave approximately 1/4" mile before heading south into the parking lot.
From I-25
Take the 104th Ave exit off I-25. Follow 104th Ave east approximately 3.7 miles to McKay Road. Turn south on McKay Road to 100th Ave. Head west on 100th Ave approximately 1/4" mile before heading south into the parking lot.
