Your gun doesn't have a scope though? JK, nice elk.

Congrats on the bull. That had to be an epic experience having your grandkid call it in. I've been hunting with a bow for a month and my legs will barely move. Had some thrilling close calls. Aint over yet.

@Barnacles, he didn't call it in. He drew a picture before I before I headed up to go hunting, calling the shot in advance as an 8-year old is apt to do.

Cool picture and photo of your bull. My son and I each filled our buck tags but the cow tag was used for soup. Love muzzleloader hunting.

Nice, I look forward to the day I get my first bull. But Im more of mule deer hunter currently and just building points in WY and CO for now.

I have antelope opener this weekend on a friends ranch, then a big duck hunt planned, then a great 2nd season mule deer buck tag.

After that its South Dakota for pheasants, grouse, and prairie chickens....already have put the hurt on a number of grouse here in CO. Cannot wait for sodak as it will be my first time.

Hunting season is here!!!
