A couple weeks ago I was finishing my hike around left hand reservoir on 9/15/2024 and the time frame was 6pm-7pm I noticed a little girl approximately 7-8 yrs old with a man I assume was her dad. There were 2 men fishing and 2 others on the opposite side of the reservoir. The child and dad were wearing wetsuits. The adult males suit fit but the child's was 4 sizes too big and had no life jacket on. He took her out on a belly boat or a sandbar buddy. They paddled close to the middle of reservoir and the adult male lowered himself in the frigid water and then allowed the little girl to do the same. If anyone reading this was there please lmk. Concerning due to the temperature of the water, a wetsuit that little girl wore would have taken in a lot of water inside of it, and the time that they did this activity 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the adult did not have a life jacket on his child or on himself. I've tried to look up what the temperature of left hand reservoir is this time of year but I'm having a hard time finding that information.
