So . .next year around the first week of August I'm going to be very close to Vallecito Reservoir for a week.I know we are a year away and things change every day.I'm looking for very basic info . . .what kind of fish are being caught there,what kind of gear is used? Thank you folks!
In August, Vallecito can be tricky, but larger walleyes are alway off the deep ledges around the islands. Pike can be had along the northwest weedline. Hit me up a few weeks before you go and I'll give you a more detailed update. Heck I may even shoot over when you are there.
Thank you very much . .talk to you next year.My club is going to a meeting in Cederridge and will be at a campground close to the resevoir . .I volenteered to run a kitchen next year,so I may or may not haul the boat up there . . .I'm going to take a run up there and have me a look around at the camp ground and the lake.
