Fished Rampart (El Paso County) on 7/15/2024.
Beautiful lake - Got there early on a Monday morning and there was absolutely no one else in sight.
Fished from shore for about 3 hours. Caught 1 rainbow - 13 inches with a spinner.
Tried all other means of bait - live, power, spoon - but no other bites at all other than the one we caught. It was very quiet and we didn't see a lot of fish jumping.
Conditions were brisk and windy. Sorry - I don't have a water temp testing device at this time!
