Per Brad Peterson they will not be setting the nets at Chatfield this year. Interesting thatís 2 years in a row.

I might be wrong, but last year at C.C. they collected enough egg in two weeks to cover all the hatchery could use and have eggs left over to do some trading with other states for stuff they have and we want.
They picked up the nets at C.C. way early last year . . .just what I think happend.

That is a good little news letter Brad puts out. He also mentioned the ramps and ANS station are slated to open at Boyd on March 11.

Yes CoRay is correct and then you get this nice tidy little news letter on your email once a week. If you subscribe which admittedly I donít, it gets a little more in depth. Good insight on front range lakes, that has saved me some truck mileage a few times .

It has been a few years since CPW has done walleye eggs at Chatfield. Pueblo and Cherry Creek do very well in getting our egg quota. Not sure about CC but word is nets go into Pueblo 16 March.
