Lake: Williams Fork Reservoir

Boys first trip

Post By: duckhunter85      Posted: 1/31/2024 5:05:36 PM     Points: 2934
Posted the update but not the pictures. I started talking to the boy about ice fishing and itís all heís been bugging me about for the past few weeks so we finally made the trip. I know thereís plenty of other lakes where we probably would have been more successful and landed more fish, but William Fork holds a special place in my heart and I enjoy spending time there. For his first trip out, we had an absolute blast and he didnít complain one bit about the cold.

Iím not big on eating trout but some Laker tacos made some dam fine eats!

Always good to catch one as big as your leg, and a lot easier for a kid to do than for us!

Future Hall Of Famer there. We had all daughters and they never got the bug. Bugs freak them out and you can forget about putting a worm on a hook. Nice going!!

Good hustle man - get those kids out!! My boy is almost 9 and he would rather ice fish than do most anything
