Has anyone been to WF for an ice report? Safe ice?

Given the status of Granby, Shadow, and Grand, which are still open or very thin, WF is likely still open to too thin. Generally, it caps right around Xmas, but it's been unseasonably warm for much of this fall/winter, particularly as of late and for the rest of this week.
I'd bet on it closer to New Years, but would love to hear an eye-witness update.

Actually, Shadow has been capped fpr almost two weeks niow. And Green Mountain has ice ice far up the inlet.

Thanks for the update. If you guys have knowledge of ice status please concider doing a lake update on the actual lake pages. It makes it easier to find it now and also gives users historical data on the lakes. Plus right now points get you into the winter giveaway more often!!!

Thanks for the update. I'm anxious to get out on the ice and do some fishing.

Green mountain was actually updated by a member a couple days ago. And thanks to whoever double posted my report at Shadow Mtn.
