Big pike on my light set up

Fishing with a small Crappie jig rigged on 4 lb test line. This guy nailed it and i was lucky to get him ashore with no net. Crazy surprise catch of the day, a new PB for me!

No he went back safe and sound. Between no net and a steep bank it was a little ugly for a second there. He broke the line after I pulled him out of the water and he was flipping and flopping all over.

Congrats on the pb pike. That will get the blood pumping. You just never know what you’re gonna catch this time of year.
