Took a ride out to Aurora Res. today looking for open water at the dam. there is none at all. There was some guy's ice fishing near the middle of the lake. I was hoping for some open water for shore fishing. It will be at least a week before I go out again.

My buddy who was there today said there’s some open water. Nothing along the dam. However he said there is a large strip of open water in the middle and some of the coves are icing out. With this mornings wind and todays temps there may be a lot more soon.
