That must have been Nov/Dec of last year. The snow and slush is so deep right now the other day you couldn't reach open water without an extension on your auger. Nice video.

Yes, this was first ice in December 2022. Took me a while to get the video done. Crazy amount of snow up there right now. Picture is from earlier this week - 6'+ on the deck of the cabin we stayed at.

I lived up there for 10 yrs. Know it all too well. Happy to see another 3- 4 wire snow year. So much fun to spend time on Stmbt. Lake
And fishing Pearl lake as the ice was coming off. Can't beat the area for sure🐟🐟🐟

Always wondered what it would be like to ice the ‘Boat. Me n some buddies would stay at Columbine Cabins and pontoon the Meadow Point day area on Father’s Day weekend. Haven’t been there for a few years. Trying to figure out what spot you were in. Thanks for sharing.
