Was surprised to land back-to-back personal best brown trout through the ice at The Mile. Buck Shot Rattle Spoons did the trick:

Good one, there. I often use spoons at other lakes for browns, but haven't tried them in South Park for trout. I think you're onto something here!

RockyMountainFlyGuy - Thanks for posting,it looks like you had a great time out there.

I have a gas powered Strikemaster that I've been holding onto incase I have issues with my battery powered auger and I hate to have it sitting in my shed while you're hand drilling holes. I live in Parker and if you're interested in picking it up, it would put a smile on my face for you to have it.
