I am a "roughfish" enthusiasts I understand there are A bunch of them here but seems the rainbows are finding my presentation first. Any ideas from people that fish here often where I can run into some suckers. Figured since so many people don't like em you'd share where I could find em.

I don't have any direct knowledge to pass your way. That said i see you are an FXR+ member which gives you the ability to search past posts. I know i've seen this topic come up from time to time so it might be worth searching past forum posts to see what has already been discussed. Good luck!

Yeah I did that already. As I know how to fish for them. Looking Specifically for maybe a heads up on areas of this particular reservoir. When searching past post comes up a bust I post.

Tony…try a piece of crawler or a worm right on the bottom, directly east from the boat ramp 20 yards or so. Always managed one or two while fishing for Kokanee. Good luck!
Tony give Manitou Lake outside of Woodland Park a try. Deeper water near the dam & worms on the bottom might get you a few. Be advised it’s run by the NFS & they charge a fee to park so bring cash, unless you have a pass. Not sure if they have installed the automated kiosks like the forest service has at Granby?
