I heard Monument lake was going to close on 5 Dec but haven't seen anything on when it will reopen.

Tried the number. No one answered then I'm sure blocked. I'd bet it's a service technician and he's been flooded with calls. Hopefully they'll make a real announcement.

Drove by just before Xmas to check it out. Parking area is closed off.

Drove by yesterday, Road closed sign was still up, but off to the side. Parking lot was full with about 50 people out fishing. Not sure of ice conditions or catch, but quite a few folks out there.
