I am hopping that this year will be ice at the snake inlet. Does anyone know if they lower the water level and the inlet is just a creek this year. That would be a sad thanksgiving week again if there is not enough water. Any updates will be greatly appreciated.
I was fishing it a couple weeks ago and there was plenty of water, thankfully! It was even starting to get a skim layer of ice. I’m going up next Tuesday and I’ll update as to conditions.
I am not from the area, a buddy and I just go fishing every Monday or Tuesday. Had another friend up there for work today and he is saying it’s still skim and open in spots, so that being said I’m gonna try going up there the following week now.
edorrian . . .if the kokes are on the bite,just find the crowd . . .depth will vary,but anything from 4ft up to about 15 ft has been the depth for me.The kokes from Dillon are kind of stunted . . .
