Horsetooth bass & trout

Bass & trout on the same outing is always a good day for me. Took son in the 2 man kayak yesterday. Caught several small smallmouths, one solid one (for Horsetooth) approx 16", and a nice rainbow too. All c&r. All around 15' deep. The bite picked up at sunset.

Nice! The trout have been pretty thin lately. Earlier this spring you couldnt keep the trout off your line.
