The weather and conditions have been proper. Always enjoy Spinney. It’s crazy that the average is over 20”. Can’t wait to get a big fish out of there. Here are a few 20/23” rainbows from the other day. One nailed my hopper which is always fun. If your interested. Here’s the link. Thank you all for your continued support. [log in for link]

I was there on Saturday... Hoping the cooler weather would have gotten fish moving. Not for me. I stayed on the south part of the lake (around Buffalo Bay). I mainly used my fly rod with a black woolly bugger followed by a green scud, then I changed to a big stimy followed by a 16-red chironomid. I saw other people catching trout and I spoke to a guy that pulled a 38" Northern Pike. But I was zero for zero. This was my first time at this lake. The weeds were pretty high in some areas and the water temp was in the low 60's. Still was a nice day.

Well if it makes you feel any better cross track Fisher I got skunked at spinning my first couple times going. It was back in July. I didn’t like that lake at all but I have learned to love it and have started being more and more successful there

Never say never..... Takes a little time. I will eventually learn the lake.

Any no hidden tips you can share are always welcome. I need to be patient and learn. I will get there.
