Felt good to get back out on the water this past weekend!!! Work has been crazy busy for both Cheyenne and I, and we haven't had much time to fish over the past few weeks.
We decided to get after some trout on the Roaring Fork River and had a blast! Ghost brown got some good attention, and got a few fish in the net. Cool, sunny morning with no wind at all. I lost my water thermometer (knew I would) but the water was really cold. I had to put in some work to get into one of the fish crossing a high current river. I go over some tips that has treated me well in these occasions in the video. Pictured below is the current rushing against my legs just a few feet from shore.
